The world premiere takes place in Toronto. I know a few that have auditioned.

I'm hoping this will get extended long enough for me to get cheapie tickets, like the "Time for T.O." promotions they have when our tourism numbers run into a funk. (tix, dinner, hotel, and shopping for 2 for under $200 USD). I've heard rumours of a Valentine's Day Special, but nothing more.
It runs from FEB 2 to JUNE 26, pending run extension, touring options, or a second home (most likely Vancouver, New York, or London)
I'd let you guys crash here, but I'll be gone for most of Feb.

Unfortunately, I'm not good and singing or dancing; at best I will be a Hobbit doing promotion. Better glue some more hair on my feet if they're going to put me outside.
Of course in April, that wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the info! I'm probably going to be taking my (required) theatre class next semester. Maybe I can use that as one of my 2 performances I go & see.
Not too sure about singing hobbits, but I'm willing to try anything once

Hobbits I can fathom... but can you imagine orcs? They don't take kindly to remembering lines unless you persuade them with red hot branding irons...

Hopefully he heard that.
I just saw a bit of the rehearsal on the evening news, and a new television commercial. Seems like they're trying to put it out as a Christmas present option.

Hmmm....I know I'm about 2 hours out of Toledo. How far away is Toronto from Toledo? *shrugs* Thank God for MapQuest!

4 hours from Detroit, 5 hours from Toledo and Cleveland.
I used to use Mapquest... but now I'm more of an Expedia and Google kind of guy.

It's enticing at first, and it's given you a sense of power, but then you realize that it's not really worth it. You see things, and you think you're losing it.
