|
Since the new RIAA rules have been applied and we are no longer able to request the same album or artist within a certain time limit, could we make a way to strike out or bold in red the albums that we cannot request from until the time limit expires? This would be much more user friendly than pulling up the album and requesting the track and finding out that the track cannot be played.
For example if there is a Thomas Newman track in the queue and I want to request another Thomas Newman track I would know that when I did a search and the album name was in bold red that I couldn't request it yet.
If this isn't feasible, could there possibly be another solution? _________________ "When you look into the eyes of a wolf you see into your soul. Hope you like what you see..." Aldo Leopold |

A quick solution may be to add the artist/composer information in the queue. That way a quick perusal of the queue would tell you if the artist is currently unrequestable.
Actually, having the artist info in the queue would be nice regardless! |

Hello Luther!
I think it's a good idea, but I have been told (by Saffron)in the other thread that having the artist info in the queue is against RIAA regulations _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Regulations, SHMEGULATIONS!.....
Seriously, thanks molossus, I saw that shortly after I posted. It seems the RIAA has a regulation for everything. |
