Thnaks Zir GD if you still have the link though I would like it. I assume AOL would be a better qaulity feed. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |

I am curious, when in the book did they do the Hippogriff? I just don't like this rock thing going on in the soundtrack _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |

I hope having a different composer doesn't completely change the feel of the movie. Although it'll be interesting to hear/see/feel another interpretation of the story by the composer, director, etc. Ah- I'll just have to wait and see. |

Folks, read THIS... and relish.
Please don´t make the mistake by comparing apples with pears, and give Pat Doyle a chance. He did a wonderful, almost magical job on Harry 4! |

*lets out a huge sigh becuase "Do the Hippogriff" and some of the other sample songs actually are for the wierd sisters*
I wonder though, will Doyle work around the original Harry Potter theme that Williams kept consistant throughout his tenure? |

sorry Tree... seeing this thread again, and your response, I had forgotten that I said I had the link and didn't put it up. I really thought I had. Unfortunately, the computer I'm typing this on does not have the link bookmarked. That is on a separate computer in another location.
However, the good news is that the AOL link seems to be operational again. _________________ "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

I liked Patrick Doyle's score just as much as John Williams' previous three Harry Potter scores. I hope Doyle scores the next Harry Potter film. _________________ "I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine. This is an M41A pulse rifle. I was curious myself to hear what everyone thought. I like Doyle, always have, and think he's a good choice. I adore the Quidditch Game music!!! Combination of almost taiko and Irish jig!
I could wish he had used the HP motifs more, as I think Williams created a nice strong motif. Personally I wasn't a huge HP3 score fan, but that's mostly cause of the bus sequence.
As to the rock stuff? eh... entertaining, but three of them? |

I think 2 of the rock songs appeared within the film and the 3rd during the end credits. _________________ "I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine. This is an M41A pulse rifle. Ten millimeter with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher." |
