Willis offers more personality and comedic timing to his roles in action flicks
I completely agree with you, Darth. In fact, I was thinking of changing my vote from Arnold to Bruce. Did a quick scan thru their filmographies on IMdb to see my faves of their action roles. Bruce=11, Arnold=13... so I guess I'll stay with Schwarzenegger. But it's close. Wink

Steven Seagal used to be my favourite in the past but today I vote Harrison Ford, I like Air Force One and Indiana Jones.

hmmm... This is a tough one for me. There was a time when I would say harrison Ford hands down, but the man is getting past his prime. His latest movies show that I think. Granted I'd still line up to see Indy 4, but that's for Indy!

I voted for Jet Li, but there are a few of the others too that are well worth the escapism time.

Personally I enjoy Jet Li, but I enjoy martial arts movies. He's had quite a few interesting roles over the years and the movies always seem to turn out pretty good to me.

I like jet li, especially the roles he does now

but sometimes I look back at the good ol' Steven Seagal action movies... just for old times sake... And getting action without activating my brains cells.

I like all of the old Schwarzenegger stuff, pretty much from Conan to Terminator 2.

Come on people, no votes for Chuck Norris? Crying or Very sad

I especially liked Dolph Lundgren in Red Scorpion. A real early action archetype there. (And he was HE-MAN, dang it! Mr. Green)

LOL! yes Dolph was great in Red Scorpion! It's one of the few movies of his that I own. He-Man and Universal Soldier are the other two.

Alot of people like Harrison Ford it seems. Yes, he's a wonderful actor. Yes, he has alot of good roles. Yes, he does his own stunts! But he pales in comparison to Jackie Chan. Jackie has broken most, if not all, of his bones multiple times doing his stunts. And what stunts they are! The exception is The Tuxedo. I think some of those moves were cgi. Besides, can Harrison say that he had a cartoon made just for him?

Is having broken so many bones a sign of his skill or lack of skill, GD?

lol J2

a little of both I suppose.

in all honesty, I watch Chan's stunts with awe. first, because I know I can't do those stunts. second, I'm watching for when the breaks happen during the film, like when Chan jumped onto the moving hovercraft in Rumble in the Bronx.

does that make me sick individual for wanting to see that?

Nethier. It's a sign of dedication.

My favorite action star are Jackie Chan, Brendan Fraser, and Vin Diesel. They're the greatest action stars on my list. Cool
