I was thinking of doing something like this for the sweepers last year. A nice little jingle/stinger would help SST brand recognition. Good examples of some are Outback Steakhouse, McDonalds, and Circuit City. Perhaps we can do something like this for the 2006 Edition Sweepers Contest. _________________ "Are you not entertained? I can think of 4 professional composers right off the top of my head: Edgen, Dalekmindprobe, Bassbydan, and Francel. The talent pool at SST must be very deep! |

In September I start college majoring in composition. You might not add me to the professionals list quite yet, but if you had a contest for the SST theme I'd definitely participate! |

Good luck in choosing only 1 winner from what looks to be a very deep pool of talent - and enthusiam. |

The difficulty depends on how he runs the contest. The prize for the "winner" can be to have their work used on SST. Multiple "winners" means multiple jingles/stingers/etc. It's a win-win situation.

I think it would be a fantastic idea. Although I think it could be better if the theme is played in the short interludes when the guys at sst anounce stuff (you know, just to remind you what station your listening to)
I would love to have a bash at writing a theme... |
