I read about it, 15 days after the fact in the November issue of Famous (the one with Joaquin Phoenix on the cover), when I went to see Harry Potter at the Paramount. It has excerpts from a phone interview with Tommy Tallarico, and a pic of the first performance with the L.A. Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. (It appears to be a scene from Kingdom Hearts with the Genie Jafar.) I was wondering, WHY DIDN'T I HEAR ABOUT THIS?
And then I checked the website to find it was cancelled. They only had enough funds to fly up to Seattle and Vancouver. Oh, everything happens for Vancouver... winter olympics, government funding, American girls with less moral hang-ups, salmon, and this. 
*sigh* *eats a can of sockeye*

Hmmm, September 30th, eh? Still lots of time for them to cancel it, but still... it looks like it could be interesting... thanks for pointing it out. |
