The problem with playing the R and X-rated tracks late at night are 1) it's hard to implement on SAM, and 2) it's daytime somewhere for other SST listeners. |
Yeah, I thought about that - it's morning in Europe and other parts of the world if the tracks play late at night in the U.S. I was just thinking that the kids in the U.S. rarely log on so late and U.S. mainstream stations are allowed to air R-rated stuff then. Not so sure about profanity regulations for radio in other countries, but they are probably similar. Didn't think SST had X-rated tracks! I will mourn being able to listen to some songs in their entirety, but in the long run, it may help to attract more listeners. |

Why is it that Grease springs immediately to mind? Misspent youth.

Something in the back of my brain says that there's something in one of the Chicago tracks.

Well, some would consider it offensive, but I don't think that's what JERIC has in mind. I wouldn't mourn the loss, though.

Mellow
JERIC, what about track titles? There are a couple that I know of, and a search may reveal more:
- The Temp (for title: M@$turbation)
- The Killer Elite (title: Salmon Up The River Sh1t) _________________ "insert your own clever quote here.... I'm too lazy to do it." |

Track Titles, yeah, that's probably something I should do too. Thanks for the list Tjoe. I didn't think it was that many!
This is going to be a lot of work so please have patience everyone.
For the record, I'm doing this out of respect to people who play SST around children and public places. I am not pro censorship at all but I am in favor of warning labels. Since I can't and don't want to slap a warning label on the stream, this is the best way to go about it. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? You run a first class operation here JERIC. You must be very happy with how this has all turned out. Kudos to you. _________________ "insert your own clever quote here.... I'm too lazy to do it." |

A very worthy compromise, JERIC. Kudos, indeed! |
