I just bought myself LOST and X-Men 3 recently.
Love LOST, not so keen on the X-men 3 yet, even though Powell is prob my fave composer!
I have heard Poseiden is real good, I will have to try and listen to it!

Recently saw X-men 3 again (second time), the score is far superior compared to the first two movies. I immediatly noticed it at the title-introduction, great main title. I think I'm gonna get this one.

Da Vinci Code was my latest acquisiton. Got to love Hans Zimmer...great composer.

These aren't technically labeled as recently bought, but I recently found a whole pile of soundtracks I had forgotten I had. I love it when that happens!!!

Just purchased the Da Vinci Code (Zimmer), X-Men 3 (Powell), The Thin Red Line (Zimmer), The Italian Job (Powell), and Chronicles of Narnia (Gregson-Williams) all at once. I must say all of them range from darn good to kickin' on my very precise ranking system. Now I really want to buy the soundtrack to Mulan... stupid "money" thing! |

Secret Weapons Over Normandy by Michael Giacchino. Been meaning to get it for ages, they had one left on amazon ... whew.
That, and Final Fantasy: More Friends concert. Some fine music there too by Nobuo Uemtasu and arrangers Shiro Hamaguchi and Arnie Roth.
The producers of the More Friends concert are currently working on the "Play! A Video Game Symphony" concert tour which recently premiered in Chicago, USA to a crowd of several thousand. |
