Please read this, before you send a request post for a soundtrack!

Infos like "Who composed it?", "Where is it available?" etc. are necessary.
Otherwise nobody can tell if he/she is for or against adding it.

Bah I wish I was the first to reply. I would have replied with a simple "OK" :-)

Is there even a commercial release? If not, then there's no need to continue. SST does not tolerate any bootlegs or even any talk of bootlegs.

However, if anybody can locate a legal commercial release, please feel free to post it here and it will be considered.

Milan released an official soundtrack of Silvestri's Delta Force in 1987 (and for some really strange reason, -license package from Cannon Films, probably- they paired it with Goldsmith's King Solomon's Mines) and has been out of print for years.

The release was one of the first CD's for the French/Swiss division of Milan and is now considered extremely rare but I guess a little sleuthing could be considered for those interested.

This is a very very early effort from Silvestri and those who expect something akin to his current style or even orchestral sounds will be deeply disappointed. This was done on a pretty limited budget and it is virtually a one-man-show since it was all played straight into a Synclavier. Running time for it is around 30 minutes on 8 tracks (with another 30 mins for the Goldsmith score). I'd say it's worthy for historical reasons but not much else.

I did a quick browsing in the office and discovered we have it here. Just for kicks I sampled through it and yikes, sound quality is pretty bad (though not as bad as with Goldsmith's King Solomon's) so that may be another drawback. So if anyone is willing to shell out $200-$300 bucks (I didn't think so either) to ebay or something like that for this thing, that would be a brave move, although perhaps not a very wise one.

This is the ONLY official CD release this score has ever received (there was at least another official release on LP by Enigma in 1986); the rest are boots, so beware out there!
