What film score would fit this film?
I would go with one thing Vince Dicola on a heavy metal with an orchastra mix/feel. I mean think of it this way. 30ft + tall robots that if they step on ya, you die.
Know i would go with old school metal. just kick your a%$, break into the house, drink all the beer and drive the car into the neighbors living room and watch the house of hair.
Now i really love the score Vinc Dicola did for TFTM. the death of prime track still makes me tear up.
no hip/pop man-O-factured crap music please! or rap. I'll shoot people.
So let me know what you all think? _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know. |

Well I'm not entirely familiar with Transformers nor I think it's the kind of movie I'd like to see, but I voted the heavy metal/orchestra mix since Obi-Son apparently loves and knows the subject.
I don't think heavy metal will prevail, though, since it's a bit passé for the current industry standards and now that Steve Jablonsky has been hired to do it, I'd say there's a very good chance of it having his usual small orchestra/sampled orchestra/drum machine mix; if you listen to The Island you will know what I'm talking about. _________________ Do NOT click this link!

I voted "Orchestra / Rock mix". I'm not a big fan of heavy metal, so I pictured something like "The Rock" (can you even say pictured when it comes to sound?), which is orchestral with some rock thrown in. I think that could be fun... Although I think the soundtrack will rock (no pun intended) no matter which style they choose. _________________ "Anything one man can imagine,
