Anyone is lacking football?

Check the film here: http://sport.gazeta.pl/Mundial2006/1,73600,3450304.html

Movie quality is not the best but it is still fun to watch a collection of great goals Smile

What a shocking upset - France defeated Brazil!

Brazil's forwards were playing rather poorly and the French defense was sharper. I can't believe no one from Brazil was covering Thierry Henry when he made his goal.

Oh well, my hopes are with Portugal now!

Nice goal by Henry though Smile That kick by Zidane was awesome and I think Henry almost shot it through the net Razz

It was Roberto Carlos' job to cover Henry and now Carlos is one of the most criticized players by Brazilian fans.
It was said on the radio today that Carlos had been correcting (adjusting? - *i don't know how to say it in english*) his sock in that crucial moment.
Carlos is probably arch enemy for brazilian fans now Wink

Molossus, the videos of fruity soccer players being squashed are hilarious!

This round of World Cup has come to an end. Congratulations to Italy for winning based on their excellent penalty shots and defense.

I thought France outplayed Italy for most of the final since they controlled the midfield and had possession the majority of the time, but it came down to Zidane's stupid head butt ejection and the penalty kicks. Very sad.

It is exactly my opinion too, zirael.

Do you mean this one Alchemist? Smile : http://sport.gazeta.pl/Mundial2006/0,73997,3471214.html

I had not easy choice in the final voting... Confused
Both contenders are beautiful!

What was Zidane thinking? Ending his career with a moment of madness. Crazy.

Congrats to Italy. At least the result gives Australia bragging rights: we were robbed beaten by the World Champions. Razz

For those interested in what happened to Zidane last night...

http://football.guardian.co.uk/worldcup2006/story/0,,1817268,00.html

Well, I'm far from being a football lover, but I enjoyed Portugal-Germany much more than the last one...

For your information: Swedish girl won the contest and was voted the sexiest World Cup supporter.

Congrats Phire! BTW: You were right in the chat on Sunday - one can't be wrong supporting swedish girls Wink
