Oddly, Blogspot does not load here in the PRC... neither do Wikipedia, BBC, or various other pages... wonder why?...

So far it's always loaded OK here, but there are days (like today) when I can't log in to update it! (read the most recent entry for what's even weirder...)

I think I found your problem. The part where is says "msn".

Yeah, I'm something of a contradiction. I don't care for big bad Microsoft, and I use OpenOffice, Firefox, and Trillian. I highly recommend them, by the way! I really do it because I want to, though I'd have to anyway to get decent English software here that isn't pirated... But then I go and use Hotmail and MSN Spaces and Windows. Go figure. I guess I take the easy route when it comes down to it... But it turned out to be a good thing that I switched over to Hotmail right before I moved here, as my old "main" e-mail address was with mailcity, which was bought by lycos a few years back, and the lycos network won't load on some internet connections here (including those at my school).
sorry to get so off-topic, but does anyone else in "foreign" countries have problems with certain web pages (ie, pages that load in your home country but not abroad, or pages from foreign countries that don't load at home?) Or is this a purely PRC issue? Well, I suppose people in N Kor. might have the problem, too... but do they even have the internet there?
Lest you despiar on my behalf, I have after several months found a way around it and gotten to most of the sites that don't require log-ins (thanks to a good friend for the tip), you can speculate if you like but I ain't posting it anywhere online lest somebody wipe it out!
And to get back on topic, I enjoyed the blogs I visited. Neat to see the variety, guys. Keep up the good work.

J2 using wordpress as a CMS eh, cool beans, wordpress 2.0 actually makes that easy with the right plug-ins. I'm actually going to do a tutorial on my blog on how to do it.
Cal is right, my space is cool and the place to be, but very scary, not someplace I would want my kids visiting, period.
