Spoiler: | Ok so I just saw POTC II and have a question. In the first movie when they released the curse everyone became mortal again. However in POTC II the monkey was still immortal (they shot him before they traded him to the voodoo lady). So what gives? |

Spoiler: | It was because the monkey took the gold coin at the end of the first movie. At the VERY end of the credits of the first one you actually see him cursed. |
