I ripped off j2brown's idea and title
Hope ya don't mind, j2!
My favorite villians:
DR. DOOM - Awesome look. Power hungry. Cool powers (electro-shock, superhuman strength, ability to defy gravity)
VENOM - You kidding? An evil SPIDER-MAN with fangs and forked tongue! Just classic!
JOKER - THE BATMAN's worst nemesis and a mentally insane freak with the most horrid sense of humor.
TWO-FACE - Sees things as black and white. There is no gray area. Embodiment of dual personalities. Cool coin.
MAGNETO - Sir Ian McKellen's Magneto (description speaks volumes)
-Knock yourselves out!
SUPERHEROES:

It appears that villians are not the sort to be liked . . . hmm . . .
Oh well. If I say something controversial people will flock over!
Better not. too risky.

Poor Kiddo. I kinda know how you feel. My Wild Animal Kingdom topic got two responses then died quickly..lol. Let me help you out here.
My favourite villians are the rogues gallery from Dick Tracy. They are not all pictured here, but who can forget great names like Big Boy Caprice, Flat-top, Itchy, Pruneface, Spud Spaldoni and 88 Keys.
I think Dick Tracy is the best movie adaptation of a comic book ever. Yep, even better than Batman or Superman. I love what Warren Beatty did with that movie. Al Pacino was awesome as Big Boy.
Dick Tracy: Is the enemy of my enemy my friend, or is the enemy of my friend my enemy?
Pat Patton: Tracy, what'd you say?
Dick Tracy: Or enemy of my enemy my enemy?
Pat Patton: What'd he say?
Dick Tracy: The enemy of my enemy is my enemy.
Sam Catchem: He said the enemy of his enemy is his enemy.
Pat Patton: Oh.

Nobody beats Hades, Lord of the Underworld
NOTE!: I like his danish voice far better than the english, hee hee..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jkDW-gEHBM
Please excuse me all the quoteing, but I just can't help it!
Hades: We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, we go home happy. What do you say? Come on.
Hades: Memo to me... Memo to me: Maim you after my meeting.
Hades: Now you now how it feels to be like everyone else. Isn't it just peachy? *smirk smirk smirk*
Hades: He's gotta have a weakness, because everybody's got a weakness.
I mean, for what? Pandora, it was the box thing. For the Trojans, hey. They bet on the wrong horse, okay?
Hades: Name's Hades, Lord of the dead. Hi, how ya doin'? _________________ Our umbrellas are colliding and I can't walk straightly.

Magneto - X-Men
The Monarch - Venture Bros.
Megatron - Transformers _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know. |

Yeah, snow. Can't expect everyone to enjoy what we personally enjoy.
Oh, another villan that's awesome, though not a comic book character until after the films, is DARTH VADER.
VADER: "We would be honored if you would join us."
VADER: "All too easy. Perhaps you're not as strong as the Emperor thought. [Luke climbs away from trap] Impressive. Most impressive."
VADER: "I am your father."
I was encouraged to post up quotes. Couldn't help it.

Oooh, comics! *sorts through enormous list of favorite villians to get to a manageable number*
Doomsday - Mindless creature of destruction that killed Superman!! How can you get better than that?
Magneto - X-Men's main nemesis, all the more frightening because of his total belief in his cause...
Lex Luthor - Sociopathic rich genius with an unreasoning hatred of Superman...
Darkseid - Evil ruler of a planet who desires to rule the entire universe.
Apocalypse - Possibly the first and most powerful mutant ever. In more than one alternate future, he has ruled the planet...
I guess I'll stick with 5, for now. _________________ I can see right through you... |

There are just so many to choose from, but here is the king of them all.
Eastern Bloc Robot Cowboy!
He's no ordinary cyborg villain. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Do you mean Jack Nicholson's performance in that role? "Gotham City. Always brings a smile to my face..."
Hm, I'd agree on that one. |

Bpe is being picky =P
The Joker - my nemesis - on the graphic BATMAN novels is much darker and sinister than the film and cartoons portray. For the ultimately dark, unforgiving Joker read ARKHAM ASYLUM by Grant Morrison. Boy, he's freaky!
