Have any of you other Firefox fans experienced problems recently with the way some web pages (including SST) are displayed? For example, suddenly the background of the SST site is completely white, the background of the site's drop-down menus is transparent, column widths are strangely expanded, etc. Very weird. Certainly was nothing I changed.
Ideas? |

I've had lots of sites that won't open or have probs in FF. But, not here. Have you gotten the most recent update? Never had a problem like that, Don.
Thur's right about the updates. I've had several in the last week (v. 1.5.0.7) |

That could be related to a slow network issue, with the page not loading completely... I have the same problem from time to time, but not with the same browser (Opera here). _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

I've used Firefox since it was called Phoenix and been here for a long time and have never seen the issue you described. I think Alchemist may be on the right track. If you can provide more details feel free to do so, maybe we can help out then.

Thanks for the feedback! In fact, yesterday morning I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it (getting the new v. 1.5.0.7 in the process). I still had the same probelms. Then, when I came in this morning and launched Firefox -- Bingo! Problems vanished! Looks to me like Alchemist was indeed on the right track. It'll be interesting to see whether the problems also vanished on my computer at home.
Anyway, thanks for providing your shoulders for me to cry on. *takes out fine, thick Turkish towel and starts drying their soggy shoulders* _________________ "Truth is One, many are the Names.
