Buddy Guy - Bring 'em In

There's an annual jazz festival in my town and I always buy (at least) one CD from one of the artists who's concert I attented, and this year it was Buddy Guy (Yes, I know he's a blues legend and shouldn't have anything to do at a jazz festival, but it broadens the appeal of the festival)

Awesome album. Lyrics are hilarious. Double Team is me favourite.

Last non-ST? WoW...had to think a little too hard on this one. But here's how cool I am...
it was a wicked cheap CD of "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Mussorgsky/Ravel. I looooooove that piece. We got to play it last year in orchestra, which only added to my love for it.

I got a classic of a different sort. I got Pink Floyd's The Wall. Everyone has to have a copy of that.

asri, i just picked up "the open door" as well, and its a great album.

also the killers - "sam's town." a little disappointed there. they seem to have a bit of a Queen vibe going on, but not in a good way. i wouldn't recommend it, but my brothes loved it.

still want to pick up the new my chemical romance album.

I just recently discovered a pianist named Yiruma. He has several albums available, but I purchased one of his more popular albums called First Love. Here is a picture of the album:

I purchased my CD at YesAsia and I highly recommend it if you are a fan of piano music. To give you an idea of what his music sounds like you can visit his MySpace site.

I got Gwen Stefani's new cd for Christmas and I just picked up Dave Matthew's 2 cd set (best of & live), and I got Carrie Underwood's cd (I keep telling myself my daughter likes it, but it's for me too).
