A haunting score from the late 70's, which is probably most remembered for it's haunting title. This would be a great addition, at least for the next Halloween. Twisted Evil

Here is a link to the movie grooves sample page, where is the clearest and the best version of the theme:
http://www.moviegrooves.com/shop/amityville.htm

Here are also the regular Amazon samples (windows media player):

1. Amityville Horror Main Theme
2. Father Delaney
3. One Year Later
4. Screams
5. The Windshield
6. Kathy's Dream
7. The Staircase
8. The Babysitter
9. At The Park
10. The Window
11. The Ghost
12. The Wall
13. Bledding Walls
14. The Ax
15. The Crucifix
16. Postludium
17. Amityville Horror End Credits

I think it's worth adding to the playlist before next Halloween, although Lalo's jazzy scores like Bullitt (hint, hint) would probably get more play.

I enjoyed the samples of the soft main theme, the Window piano theme, Bleeding Walls, and the swirling Herrmann-esque strings in the Windshield. Nice request, John!

Yeah, it's an effective horror score. Nice theme. Bought this as an LP back in '79.

I vote yes.

Thanks for reminding me about this score in the other thread.
