I miss all the good comics from the past, especially "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs". In my opinion the new comics never reached their level. Except two comics: The Simpsons and Futurama.
And i miss Jeff Murdoc from Coupling. I mean how brilliant musst a man be to event breasts with brain?

I would most definitely have to say I am disappointed they cancelled the show Firefly. I just recently discovered this show through a recommendation and I LOVE every episode and wish they would bring it back at some point even with some new characters cause the writing seems to be a strong point for the show. The morons at Fox don't know a good thing when they got it I guess Rolling Eyes

Agreed, best thing on TV in a long time. Even though the movie wrapped up a few things, I wish we had been allowed to see the characters develop over time in a serial. I just don't understand why Fox could not have had some faith.

LOL I remember that lawsuit GD! That was ludicrous! Although yes, it did bring back that original horrible show by the notoriety! What's scarier is that the original was live action!

My missed shows are Carnivale!! They had some really cool stuff planned! And Tru Calling, which as Work pointed out, was killed for the incredibly horrible Point Pleasant.

The ones that I miss most are the ones I used to watch religiously as a kid

Gargoyles, Shadow Raiders, Cybersix, and Reboot (I'm not 100% sure that one is finished, but all signs seem to point to them killing it off) Crying or Very sad

I'd have said Enterprise too. Come to think of it the original Star Trek was axed after only 3 seasons - imagine if that had gone on to 7 like Next Gen... How odd would it have got then?

Also whatever happened to Dungeons and Dragons? I loved that series but it seemed to end so abruptly... surely a case for a comeback...

Wow, I must not watch enough TV: I recognize hardly any of the shows mentioned here. Of course, I know belsammael's "Thundercats", "Transformers", and "Ghostbusters" (both of them) and payable's "Dukes of Hazzard" (hmmm, am I dating myself?). But I think those great shows pretty much ran their course, not being cancelled prematurely.

Speaking of premature cancellation of great shows, though, how about "The Phoenix"? Anyone?... Anyone?

Still no? Check out the descriptions here and here and the photos here. Ring a bell, yet? It only ran five episodes, but as Ken Clark of the UPI said, "...it could [have] become a television classic!"

10th season of SG-1 is the last one.

Maybe better, it is not the same without Richard Dean Anderson.

I miss the Carnivále. That show had huge potential and it even started to put up a notch, when the second season started. Such a waste of a good series...

And to repeat previous posts, I also miss Futurama, The Critic and all those other morning toons from the 80's.

Definitely agree with Boomtown. An innovative crime show.

also...Homicide: Life On The Street.

I miss Everwood. It was an amazingly well-written and touching show that my entire family gathered together to watch every time it came on, and then they killed it off to sustain the absolute garbadge that no one else would watch...I suppose they thought if they took Everwood away, we'd watch the other crap. No way.

I'm just glad there was a *little* closure in the last episode Sad
