I observe the similar phenomenon.
Quiet parts are barely audible and louder parts are at the 'normal' volume level.
It almost sounds like someone is constantly adjusting the volume.

Oh yes.
And I am constantly adjusting the volume on my computer together with "someone"

Yep, that was me. I saw it post and then it disappeared before my eyes when I reloaded the forums!
But no problem... sitting back now to see what others have to say.
