Is it technically possible to select a track from the library and just stream it rather than putting it into the main Q and waiting to hear it there? I love the community and chat associated with the Q plus the quality of music selected there but sometimes I just want to check stuff out. Maybe the track isn't worth submitting to the Q. Why subject everybody to a bad track just because I want to check it out. Besides the Q wait might be a couple hours on a busy day anyway.
Maybe this could be a feature for subscribers.
Or is this another licensing quagmire |

I guess it is a licence problem.
Previewing a track is only possible if limited to a maximum of 30 seconds.
I don't know if you need a separate license for that, but it is a lot of work to create 30 second samples for all the tracks in the playlist.
Best option is to listen to previews of the tracks on Amazon or something similar. This is not available for all tracks however.
And if a track wasn't worth submitting, it probably would not be available in the playlist in the first place. _________________ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Flying: The knack of throwing yourself at the ground and miss.

Just click on the amazon link in the album info. There are your samples. |

iTunes also gives you 30 second clips that you can listen and test _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |
