Lantana

That was the the movie I saw today in the sneak preview today. It was so boring I almost fell asleep but I couldnt because I am too tall for those chairs.

Yes I left the theatre before the movie ended.

Never *ever* say 'have a good evening' to me again! :-)

I thought you knew what a sneak preview is? You don't know what kind of movie you are gonna watch. That is the fun part in watching a sneak. It can be a good hollywood movie (Old School, Star Trek Nemesis), or a movie that is good but you never would bother to watch (Whale Rider, Rabbitproof fence or 24 hour people). but.... it also can be a very bad one like the one I just saw.

Sneak are quite popular here in the Netherlands. Beats sitting home alone watching TV.

Well off to bed now, night night..

So you didn't know the movie you were seeing until you got there?

Did you at least know it was called Lantana before you went in? 'Cause that should have been your first tip off.

And of course Matrix 2 got a lower score. Dancing dirty feet for ten minutes? Give me a break!

I know nothing about the movie, until I see the title of the film. When I saw "Australian productions presents" (or something like that) I heard a couple of 'uh oh"'s around me. So that was my first clue :-) There are some unofficial Internet sites where you see what movie is playing, but that takes the fun out of watching a sneak preview imho.

And of course it gets a high score. People love drama/thrillers. But I call them soap opera. And I *hate* soap opera's.

Oh Cal, I never knew I had that kind of power. Twisted Evil

I shall only wish you the worst of days from now on. Then you can blame me if I am right and mock me if I am wrong.

Sneak previews are done in Belgium too.. You don't know what movie you are going to see, but you are seeing a movie in avant premiere, and you only pay half the entrance price.

In return the theatre's have you fill out a score sheet for the movie you saw, so they know if the movie is worth screening a lot.

As I only pay half, I'm not mad if I see a bad movie once in a while.. Btw the best sneak preview I saw this year was Four Feathers.
