You can read in it Here. _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know. |

Interesting interview, thank you Obi.
Unfortunately, there is not a word about the 300 score controversy (as BhelPuri stated in the VIP forum). Would have been interesting to have Bate's point of view on that matter! _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

Looks like the 300 score was quite 'inspired'. Please check http://www.movie-wave.net/titles/300.html for instance! |

Wow, has anyone gone back and listened to it all to verify this? _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Thur,
Yes this has been verified and Warner Brothers has even released a statement regarding the similiarities:
Quote: |
Warner Bros. Pictures acknowledges and regrets that a number of the music cues for the score of "300" were, without our knowledge or participation, derived from music composed by Academy Award winning composer Elliot Goldenthal for the motion picture "Titus." Warner Bros. Pictures has great respect for Elliot, our longtime collaborator, and is pleased to have amicably resolved this matter. |
It has also been discussed on film music message boards almost immediately after the '300' score was released. |
