Batman, Superman, Judge Dredd, Unbreakable....... dunno really! I would prob say that most comic book ST's seem to be trying to emulate Batman (with a few exceptions Nate....Razz) Oh I dunno...... blah blah blah! Smile

No contest: Superman The Movie (1978). John Williams should have got an oscar for this masterpiece.

Good question. I don't think so but hey, why spoil the fun? It counts here just like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - LXG was a novel just like The Phantom.

Snow, I agree with you 1,000% about John Williams' Superman. Superman: the Movie and Batman are the greatest hero scores and are among the best scores in history to me. Too bad we may never see those kind of scores again in our time.

and the answer is... yes!

My favorite is Batman followed very closely by Elfman's other superhero scores.

Superman by John Williams, will never have that main title march out of my head....such a classic!

I actually like the ST for "Elektra" quite a bit and listen to it when I've had a really hard day at work.
