just found your posting. It was before my 1st entry onto the SST platform. Fantastic !
Didn't know that Philip Glass made it two times in 2007. Great...

Philip did some recordings together with Ravi Shankar (Sitar), you know ?? - Very intersting stuff...

By the way to say a lot of the outstanding music maestros from India - regularly performing Indian Classical Music (ICM) - have written film scores. E.g. Ravi SHANKAR wrote for Attenborough's GHANDI...

A wonderful tune of Akbar Khan you can listen to in my Video d'base. Maybe you never heard the beautiful sound of a Sarode, an Indian instrument. It's the male counterpart to the internationally well known Sitar ... and very, very relaxing:
