Lately when I go to a thread and click on the link to go to the first unread post it'll dump me at the top of the (correct) page.

Yeah, I just received the same message, and I'd never seen that before. When searching the forums, I usually just click on 'Posts Since Last Visit' after reading a particular thread. I guess now I'll have to stick with the handy-dandy 'Back' button.  |
I click post since last visit, the CTRL-SHIFT each thread which opens then in a new tab in the background. So this hasn't been an issue for me.
I lowered the flood interval time to a third of what it was before. You shouldn't have those problems any more.

The "View Newest Post" link:  (man that's hard to see...I hope it's useful)
It appears before the thread subject when there are new posts in that thread.

you're right, there are some problems with the mysql db too. i just got an error concerning that. |

There is a weblog site, where you can check if there are maintenance issues etc.
