|
I was wondering what everyone's favorite scores and soundtracks of the year were?
Feel free to include re-recordings and newly released CDs of older scores.
(Btw, this has nothing to do with SST's soundtrack of the year contest.)
Some personal favorites of mine, not in any particular order:
Angel
As you like it
Atonement
Beowulf
Kite Runner
Eastern Promises
Planet Earth
Stardust
Rescue Dawn
Pirates of the Caribbean 3
Pompei
Fahrenheit 451
Private Life of Sherlock Holmes
Wind and the Lion

That's a nice list, zir. I haven't got some of the re-recordings (and some popular ones like Eastern Promises/Magorium) since I reckon I'll get them after saving a bit. Here's a list of what comes to mind immediately (I'll update later)-
Chiara E Francesco
L'Inchiesta
As You Like It
Moliere
Angel
Atonement
Lust, Caution

while it may not be as big a score release as the others mentioned here but "Premonition" - Klaus Badelt is definitely one of my favorites of 2007. |
