A lot of you may have noticed that I have not been on that much lately. Don't worry, I have not abandoned you ![[Smile]](smile.gif) I promise.
The truth is, my ex-wife and my daughter have are arriving today, and I want to be ready for them when they get here. I have not seen either of them in over a year, so I think it is time for me to spend time with them.
My daughter, Amberlese McKenzie Jennison, will be turning 4 years old next month, and I think it is time that I have a more active role in her life and in her development.
As such, Sept 5, 2002, will be my last day in San Francisco, as I will be returning to Houston, TX to be with my daughter. This is something that I have given a lot of thought to, and I think it is the most responsible thing I have ever decided to do.
I will still be active in the StreamingSoundtracks.com Community, and in the ongoing War Against Corporate America, only not as loudly as I have been these past couple of months.

Hey morg, thats great. I respect a guy that can move to care for his child.
I just got back from "The International Summit of Young Technology Leaders" (what a name), but being around 1200 16 and 17 yr olds that hate corporate america was interesting. Two of our plenary speakers talked about open source and p2p file sharing, but none talked about internet radio. I got the word out, though, and got about 20 kids interested in listening to music over radio stations online. I feel I did my part..
Anyway, it was held in Austin, TX. I must say, while I was down there, the weater sucked (humidity and 98deg). It rained a lot, and the floods were just beginning to recede at that point. I hope you like Houstin more then I liked Austin. =) I'm sure you'll be happy down there with all the Mexicans.. wait, I don't mean to be mean or anything. Was that mean?
Ahh, anyway, have a good time and stay in touch. |

Mr. M. I think that moving to be near your child and making the effort and commitment to be part of her life is the most fantastic thing that any parent can do. I applaud you sir. ![[Cool]](cool.gif) If this means that you will not be fighting the good fight as vigorously then so be it. I do hope that you will continue to keep us informed of things we should be doing to assist in the fight though. Outside of that though, I wish you, your daughter and your ex all the happiness in the world and that your daughter never has to grow up with only one parent.

Thank you all for your support. I needed it. Contrary to public belief, I will continue to fight the good fight. I must. For the past 3 months that I have been involved with StreamingSoundtracks.com, I have devoted more time and energy into saving what we enjoy than I have in my personal life. Granted, Jeric is the owner, but I treat this little station like it is something that I had started. Jeric: I am so jealous of you! LOL.
