Right... my mistake, forgot to add that currently I wouldn't even have 50$ at hand. 
As Jeric knows I've been a VIP for a short time last year, but I'm not sure I could even get to use this free upgrade since University starts in 2 days and I won't have much time to hang around here... too many complicated thoughts floating around in my head, I know...
But anyways, I really like the idea!

A very nice idea! Hopefully this will translate to more VIP subscriptions after it ends.
This will also mean an increase in request time waits for the current VIPs so I hope folks don't mind it. |

I'm really wondering if this will lead to more VIPs (that's what I wish will happen) or if must people will grab the gift and run (as my ugly inner cynical demon thinks)...

That would interest me, too. Because now I couldn't participate, so I would very much like to have some time to up my postcount.
