I was looking at my profile and changed my occupation. I hit save and it lost my avatar. Can anyone help me on how to upload the one I want and resave it? please!!!???

There is a bug in the system that sometimes deletes your avatar when you change something in your profile. It has happened to both Caray and I.
Just upload your avatar the same way you did last time. |

Ok, thanks for the help... but, i can't remember how i did it and i can't seem to figure it out now. There used to be a option i thought to do this. Could you please help me. I thought i was done with the newbie shit but it looks like im still in their ranks.  Thanks for the help though

I'm not quite sure what you mean.
In the menu, under community, click Your Profile. At the bottom there is room to add your avatar.

I know what has happened, I've got fooled by the fact that when I log in, the site directs me to this page where I can edit my info (Your Profile) and where I can change my avatar, therefore I haven't looked on the sides of the frame, specially since in my screen I have to browse (scrollbar) in order to see the community menu.
So I was trying to change my avatar where only the GIF files were shown and where if you pick a JPG file it fails .
