What a great thread! I too got many of these wrong - particularly Lies, jbarta and zireal. Mine's too boring to try and correct anyone's pronunciation of it although I do like it when I get called just mellow or MM (thanks TJ!).
So, has anyone asked Jeric whether it's pronounced Jeric or Yeric? |

J sound, not Y sound, MM.
If not, I'll be very surprised.

Very interesting reading..for what is in a name? A rose is .. never mind.
Mine is Cinder. Still amazes me how many do not think it is feminine. It is short for herself Cinderella.
I was teaching fairy tales when I needed a name for chat rooms.
I dropped the end and got Cinder Sin-der...and yes that gets played on too.
I could mention that cinder is also a building block, but that is not one of my fonder ones.
Cinder is also the cone of a volcano.
Met old Cinderella at Disneyland once.. the real one!!! _________________ A good sound track will let me relive the movie, I can cry over them as well. Hand me the tissues...please. |

It's been shortened to Akwat in the chat before...but Akwa, akwat, whatever...it's all the same to me!
I've only seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force once or twice...sorry to disappoint, lordzero! |

I always thought it was LOW-tur-king, with emphasis on the first syllable and "LO" stood for "Lord". |

It was supposed to be elvish back when I came up with it 5 years ago but a while later I realized I forgot the "n" after the first "E". By then I was so used to it I figured it was pointless correcting it. Anyway, I never really Knew for sure how its supposed to be pronounced but I typically pronounce it in Spanish:
E-veen-yah-tahr or something like that.
Fun thread to read though |

It does indeed stand of Lord Of The Rings, but "Lord of the Rings King" is a mouthful, so I always says Lot-URR-King in my head.
