I got the good news yesterday.
My medication is now stable and I will not need another blood test for a week. I am also off the Lovenox shots.

hope you're doing well istagi - take care of yourself. clearly your health started failing when i disappeared, so i will try to stop by every now and then so you stay healthy. one more thing to add to my to do list, but anything for you

Istagi health status report.....
back is in good shape.
I have a pulled ligament in my right shoulder.
current blood work is excellent, cholesterol is optimal across the board.
No signs of further blood clots and blood sugar levels are good. Indians have high diabetes risk factors... yay.
still to fat.....

Oh those sugar levels!!! I do believe we eat the way we do just so the doctors have something good to discuss!!

Very sorry to hear about your shoulder. That can be so painful and just gets in the way of doing every thing you want to do. Hope it heals up fast.
Man, it's so hard to change a lifetime of eating habits. I can empathize... with your wife if she does the menu planning and cooking. Hard to break old habits but we have done it at our house. Love it now. Should have changed years ago. |
