Please use this thread to post requesting or playing bugs. If you receive an error message please include that error message in your post. _________________ If you have it you don't need it. Peaches, does that happen every time you use the random request? _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Hello all,
I ve just been registered today and I can't do a request. Everytime I have this message:
Error: You requested too soon.
VIPs can request more often than normal users.
Click here to find out how to become an SST VIP.
I never requested a song before, and when I go to "your requests", I can see that I've never done a request, so why this message ? |

Perhaps you share internet access (work or school, using NAT?) with somebody who has already requested? That would cause the system to think you've already requested.
If that's not the issue, post any details you can and someone will be able to look in to it.
Welcome to SST, sorry for the rough start.

Bulworth is currently listed as 1988, it should be 1998. Thank you, and have a nice day. |

On the Album page in the column on the right there's an option called 'Make A Correction'.
There's the place where you can make corrections to album data. _________________ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Flying: The knack of throwing yourself at the ground and miss.

I discovered today something that looks like minor bug on Playlist/Requests page.
After putting in the name of album I'm looking for and hitting "enter" key, the page reloads but nothing really changes. I'm stuck in the same position.
After putting in the name of album and clicking "Search" button, searching starts with no problems and I get the result.
I tried it several times today with different album names. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Enter is working on my end (FF2). What browser and version are you using? Can you try that browser in safe mode and/or another browser to see if still behaves this way? _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Thanks for quick reply JERIC!
I spotted this behaviour using Internet Explorer 7.0 (7.0.5730.11 to be exact). I'm not sure if it is important but earlier today I was updating my Windows XP via Microsoft website.
After downloading FF just minutes ago I can confirm what you've observed: Playlist/Requests page works fine with Firefox. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Today I found my friend's IE 7.0 (slightly different version: 7.0.5730.13 on different PC) showing the same behaviour. So it looks like this little bug or something can be IE related. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
