I was wondering how we could complicate the good job of the programmers of this station, and here's my idea:
When it's a composer's birthday, it'll good to have the opportunity to request more often his music. Let's say : a request available every 30 minutes.
And maybe give a free day VIP for the listener's birthdays.
What do you think? |

Composer's days used to be a habit here some time ago (and I enjoyed it). Now, sadly, it is history because of RIAA rules (it's been discussed before in the forums).

I would say yes nice idea about that VIP day.
Only there is one downside. How do you really know it is somebody's birthday? You can change the day everytime.
Of course everybody is honost here and would not do that.
And as a VIP I would say it is a really nice thing for those who maybe can experience the benefits of being a VIP.

Might be a nice 'lure'.  
I don't know if this is doable, but in order to prevent people from claiming it's their birthday every day of the year one could apply a "once a year per name" rule. Might not stop some people from creating severaal accounts, but I rather think that'd be the exception.
Oh, and if there are additional costs involved for JERIC, I'd be against it.
As near as I can tell, he doesn't have Microsoft's advertising budget, do it might be too much.

LOL!! Agreed. I also like the idea of adding the feature so everyone only has one birthday per year. But, you know, if someone REALLY wanted to make new accounts for birthday VIP, they would basically have to do it on a daily basis. It only costs $5 for a month. I don't think it would be worth the effort to try to beat that system IMHO.

I couldn't imagine such imaginative ways to become a VIP without paying using my suggestions. 
After all, we're a good, honorable, community, no?
