We have a few threads that say what non-soundtrack music we have bought but I thought it might be nice to have an area just to say what we're listening to right now.

I've got You Cross My Path by The Charlatans on my iPod and iTunes at the moment. It was a free download from their website a few months ago and I've really started to get into it. Pretty good if you like your indie guitar music.

Well, I've been listening to Metallica: And Justice for All, Dethklok: Dethalbum Deluxe Edition, Johnny Cash stuff, and Mozart's Requiem lately it seems Smile

This sounds like a full on rock album by the name and album title! Right alien? Or completely off the mark?

iTunes calls it rock. I'd call it somewhat-melodious-with-a-hint-of-bombast metal. Wink

weaponlordzero, very interesting mix you have there. Laughing The more and more I post here, I begin to realize that soundtrack people do tend to listen to a wide variety. I thought I was a one of a kind!

Currently in my rotation would be MercyMe, Rush of Fools, and Celldweller.

Hmm. Daft Punk. Now there's some good stuff! That's classic electronica. Chemical Brothers fan?

I love really soulful voices...
These are the latest in my current playlist (outside of SST):

The Futurist

Beautiful earthy voice... and some really entrancing lyrics

Little Voice

I prefer the live recording my friend did of her music before this album came out. It was less pop and more jazzy and soulful. Although I love a couple of the tracks on this cd (particularly Between The Lines). It's a beutiful sad song.

Ceu

a really beautiful jazzy bossa nova sound w/ a bit of samba. Has some very Jack Johnson moments.

Today I've fallen in love with

Atargatis - Wasteland

It's symphonic metal (à la Nightwish). If you like that kind of music, I recommend it.
Bought this today, and I'll pick up their other album on Monday. Smile

I'm listening to the recently released samples from REPO! The Genetic Opera, which are here if you're curious.
I can't wait for this to come out. It's already been delayed six months! "Zytrate Anatomy" is my personal favorite so far, though I prefer the earlier version from the MySpace Page.

Sounds awesome, though I prefer "Chase the Morning"!
The movie trailer looks wonderfully weird, too.
