|
I cannot access my favorits from the community drop down menu. All I get is a blank white page that says Sorry in the left corner. I get the same thing when I try to view other peoples favorites as well. I've tried logging in and out multiple times, I have tried a new user account as well. I have Javascript enabled, I'm using internet explorer with WMP. I've also tried it with Real One player with no success. Please Help. Thanks. |

Dead, congratz for your first post (a pitty it is on a problem).
Yesterday I was looking for the reason while we were in the chat, but till now I could not find it.
Please, post here a print-screen of that "Sorry" window. I know this seems silly, but it can help me to find out what is happening in your case. _________________ I think I think, therefore I think I am. (Ambrose Bierce) |

I was making fun of Pesa's pun where he used your name Deadkey093. Of course, Pesa (and apparently j2brown ) got me back _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

What was the solution here? I have the same problem. On the favorites page I just get:
Quote: |
Sorry '' |
..and now when writing this message, there is Topic review window below, which has a bit ominous text:
Code: |
General Error
Could not obtain user/online information
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1146 Table 'streamingst._users_extras' doesn't exist
SELECT u.username, u.user_id, u.user_allow_viewonline, u.user_level, s.session_logged_in, s.session_ip, e.other_st_mod_count FROM luck_users u, luck_bbsessions s LEFT JOIN _users_extras as e ON s.session_user_id = e.user_id WHERE u.user_id = s.session_user_id AND s.session_time >= 1246874486 AND s.session_page = 4 ORDER BY u.username ASC, s.session_ip ASC

I'm having the same problem. When the favourites frame loads, it just says the same as the above:
If I access the frame directly at this address I get the same thing. This problem only happens in Opera - if I use Firefox it works. _________________ Site: http://www.AddedBytes.com. |

Haha.. I figured out why the favorites page works on some of my browsers and doesn't work on the others: The page requires referer header to be sent. Only took half a year to find the answer :-)
Because of my work I sometimes need to test web servers and pages, so the browsers I use may have seemingly random configurations if I had earlier been using them for some testing. The favorites page was working on some of the browsers which I use and giving an empty page on others, but I had totally forgotten this referer header setting and that it might have effect on how websites work.
In (my version of) firefox you can change this setting by writing "about:config" in the address bar and changing the value of "network.http.sendRefererHeader". Though the default setting should be in par with SST's operation, so people who have this wrong already should know how to set it. |
