Thanks for the info BP....
Unfortunately the Christopher Young CD has already sold out. Took less than a day, kinda surprised it was such a low pressing, but Intrada already said they upped it to 1,200 copies rather than the originally planned 1,000 copies and still felt they probably under estimated the demand.

You know, it's so easy (and cheap) these days to press CDs... I don't know why labels continue to insist on such limited releases, especially when they almost always sell out promptly. Of course, what do I know?

I think that issue has been discussed in the forums (somewhere) Luther. One of the issues that I remember is the licensing. It's cheaper to license a smaller number. However, I'm in the same boat as you: Of course, what do I know?

Lalo Schifrin scored the comic-turned-graphic-novel SPOOKS, which was co-created by his son Ryan Schifrin. Aleph Records will release a limited edition CD, available exclusively on http://www.schifrin.com The first 100 copies of the CD sold via the website will be autographed by Lalo.

Hey, Varese actually knows that you're supposed to say "Fewer than 500 copies," not "Less than 500 copies." La-La-Land STILL won't get that right. Even after I sent them an email about it heard that someone wrote in to correct them.
