My fav of Zimmer's will always be Gladiator. Though I hear he's also doing the new Ridley Scott flick, too. Hopefully it'll be just as good. _________________ I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake. ~ Rene Descartes, "Meditations on First Philosophy" |

i'm doubting if i should say gladiator or the last samurai.
i think the last samurai has beautiful musicical moments, but gladiator is allready a classis (according to me) and has magnificent tunes.
gladiator is my decision. _________________ i like to dissect women, did you know i'm utterly insane? |

I reckon it's a tight decision between Pearl Harbour, The Rock and Gladiator. But Gladiator I've heard way too many times, so I'll go Pearl Harbour. |

Let's bump up an old thread!
I chose more than one favorite... I'm greedy
My Top 3 Zimmer:
1. The Lion King
My name is Pridelander and what else can I choose? TLKFC!
2. Spanglish
Not so well-known but very beautiful score & movie.
3. The Thin Red Line
Great work!
Other favorite scores:
The Holiday
A League Of Their Own
As Good As It Gets
Driving Miss Daisy (especially the live version)
Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron
The Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
The Last Samurai
The Power Of One
Favorite songs written by him:
The Closing Of The Year from Toys (with Trevor Horn)
Lea Halalela from Rhythm Of The Pride Lands (with Lebo M)
I Will Always Return from Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron (with Bryan Adams)
I'm also a huge fan of his arrangement of Circle Of Life. _________________ Miya the Pridelander
