A timestamp attached to each track of the last time it played. when the system selects a "random" track it would play the oldest track first and update it's time stamp and then the next oldest, etc. Each request would also change the timestamp so it would not be in a static loop. Tracks that recieve very little air time would get played and tracks that recieve a lot of air time would not be considered during a "random" selection.

OK! You may now start beating on this idea! Wink

I have absolutely no problems with the request system, my only thought was wondering if there could be some dynamic quality to it. Not sure the technology would allow it, but I'm just suggesting it when the number of listeners are down to lower numbers. Not any other times.

And I'm also not suggesting it be like all request line, just maybe going to 2 an hour, rather than 1.

Such a thing would require a lot of custom code. Some day, sure. We'll make it dynamic. For now though, there are other fish we want to fry.

Thanks Cocles!

That's all I was wondering. If it was simple fine, if not, then drop it somewhere on the eventual to do list! Smile
