|
Ok not sure if this is the right thread for this topic but figured it fit.
I listen to SST at work and this one album has caught my attention. The soundtrack for the anime Paprika is just so darn catchy.
I was on the road to buying it off amazon when I saw that pesky shipping fee and thought that for 1 cd? that's silly I should buy MORE CDS. So then the question was what cds. I had no idea. Then I thought of a cool project. Make a nice party mix from cds that can be found on SST.
The feel of the mix should be upbeat but that doesn't mean it has to be technoy or dance music. As long as the music is upbeat and catchy it can be orchestration. And the occasional more solemn song isn't bad in parties either.
I don't have a lot of knowledge of soundtracks so I thought I'd poll the community here. So if you have any suggestions of soundtracks that would work well for a party mix. I'll queue a few songs in each suggestion while at work and pick out my favorite 5-10.
The concept of a party mix of soundtrack music might seem a bit odd but I hate party mixes today aka popular music today but I love soundtracks and its suppose to be music in the background of a party anyways right? So really soundtracks might work better than popular music HUZZAH!!
Look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts |
