Ok... maybe it's too mainstream... but Coldplay's newest album is awesome!

I've just been listening to The Klezmer Conservatory Band's 13th Anniversary Album. It's fun, if you're into Klezmer music. Mostly I got it out of the library in an attempt to learn the Yiddish lyrics to "Tum Balalaika," a song I sang years ago in a choir. |

Currently in shuffle mode... but the current track is "In the Land of the Pigs, the Butcher is King" by Meatloaf.

Another Loaf/Steinman fan! Hooray!
AK, check out this version by Rob Evan. I find his vocals superior to Meat's in many respects. _________________ I'm writing a novel in verse. 236 stanzas so far, 5 chapters completed, 64.5% the length of Eugene Onegin. Goal: Finish it (250-ish stanzas) by May 31. |

Currently listening to
I'm trying to decide whether I like it enough to buy it. I guess that question is kinda elementary, since I decided I like the band enough to go to their concert in Boston in June. _________________ I'm writing a novel in verse. 236 stanzas so far, 5 chapters completed, 64.5% the length of Eugene Onegin. I've been listening to alot of Lesly Roy (Irish pop/rock singer) lately on CD while cooking...really gets me in that kick @$$, independent chick mode.
Josh Groban, Coldplay, and Bond on yahoo launchcast at work..
This morning my iPod shuffled out a little bit of Faith Hill, Romeo & Juliet OST, Chris Daughtry, 3 Doors Down, and Trans Siberian Orchestra while I was getting ready...So yea a little bit of everything. _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |

After finding out that Creed is getting back together and coming near us during their tour this summer, Zack and I have been listening to ALOT of Creed. _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |

Recently bought
Cuby and the Blizzards - Cats lost
A Dutch bluesgroup who had international fame and exposure in the '70's. Now 11 years after their last album they came up with this beauty of a blues
studioalbum.
And that one is 'losjes in de blues' as a local saying by a local pubowner goes.
BTW; artwork is photographed by Anton Corbijn.
I'll try to submit the cover if I found out how. _________________

Alien - I'm totally loving Atargatis!! Thanks for mentioning it!
At the moment I am listening to quite a bit of Paramore. Bought their second CD a few months ago and just yesterday had to go and buy their first and third album. All great so far! _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |
