A 2006 interview with John in regards to his scoring of Superman Returns. What he had to do to adapt John William music but still make the score uniquely his.

Does anyone here have a solid favourite? Mine is Pumpkin... it's very pleasing (To Class), and sometimes inspirational (Destiny, Lofty Goals). A good match for the material.
