|
I haven't posted in a while but I just wanted to say thank you once again to Streaming Soundtracks for ending my long-lasting search!!!
I went to see "X-men Wolverine" this afternoon and I loved the soundtrack so much that I wanted to buy it right when I came out of the theater. Unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found! I looked in the stores. Once at home, I looked on MP3 download on Amazon.com, on Itunes, even here but in the "Playlist/request" tab... Finally, as I was about to post a discussion to ask the Question "Why can't I find it anywhere???", I saw the soundtrack on the left side as "coming CD"!!! Yoohoo... (By the way, isn't it a bit unusual that the soundtrack comes out AFTER the movie? I am more used to see it being released before... hence my frenetic search...)
Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you Streaming Soundtracks!!! I can finally go to bed and sleep!!!
And please feel free to use this discussion if you too want to thank Streaming Soundtracks for whatever reason. This website is a gem and we should thank Jeric et al. more often!!! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

Hello schroddie! Great to see you back.
I think we never met before but I want to say I like many of your previous posts here and I was often thinking it was a pity you are not a regular visitor anymore.
I hope we will hear more from you! _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Oh, I don't think she's like Cocles
In fact, even Cocles himself isn't like Cocles today, I'm afraid... _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

She's old school compared to most, but she's still a whipper-snapper to folks from the early early days like Cocles and Caliburn.

Who's Cocles? Who's Caliburn? Just kidding!
Well, thanks a lot for your kind compliments!!!
Somehow, I never left this website though. Proof is, I posted here yesterday, didn't I? I am more like a kid who comes and visit her parents once in a while. But I always come back to the "nest" when it comes to soundtracks! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

Welcome back, Schroddie!! We have missed you.
I still have your wonderful Smileys link bookmarked and use it frequently.
How are things going with your doctorate? I can't remember if you have it already. If so, what are you doing now?
btw - Why isn't anyone mentioning Schroddie's long, gorgeous legs? |

I'll preface with this: any joke you have to explain is no longer funny.
The stereotypical "crotchety old guy" often refers to the "youth of today" as "whipper-snappers".
For example:
"In my day we had to walk to school up hill both ways, you whipper-snapper!"
or
"Get off my lawn! Darn whipper-snappers".
Make sense now?

Hey! Long time no see! How's Baltimore?
And have you eaten at Helmand's yet? It's the best Afghani restaurant out there! |

Oh Twopop, you just killed me!! I had completely forgotten about my legs story!!! Geez, I think this will haunt me for the rest of my life on this website!!!
To answer your question, I finished my Ph.D. back in 2005 and have been conducting research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital for these past 4 years as a post-doctoral fellow. How about you? How are you doing?
Thanks j2 and sorry for killing your joke. I am still missing some American slang sometimes... But I fill the gaps every day. I also learned another word today: ankle splint! Don't ask why
BhelPuri, yes!! I have tried the Helmand! I looooove it! I actually live quite close to it. But I also love Lumbini which is an Indian Restaurant. They have lunch buffet for 10 bucks!
Thejoyrider, with a nickname like yours, you should not be complaining about the flirting but "riding the joy" instead _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?
