Now there is a way to raise funds for site improvement. Pay-per-view steel cage deathmatch! Boo-yah!

---
It would be nice to find out when a track was last requested.

This relates to the (current) 72 hour spacing between repeats of a track. If a person can find out that a track has been last played 48 hours ago, they can then figure they have to wait another 24 hours until this track can be requested again.

I'm unaware, this may already be a feature, or it may already have been suggested and deemed unworkable, unnecessary, etc.

This is an interesting idea and I like the thought a lot. It would be good to know when a track can be requested again but it can also mean that a particular track will play at the same time every 3 days. As with most things in life there seems to be a down side as well as the positives. I would still like to at least try this scheme out and if it does not work then we remove it. Otherwise, what is there to loose?

Another thing that would be nice is to have the lengths of the tracks in the queue, instead of just the length of the current song, as it is now. Didn't it use to be that way before?

Yes it did, since the upgrade to 3.0 we've had a bug we've been trying to fix in the queue. It's still on the to do list.

As the aniversary of SST rolls around, (Aug. 19th) it occurs to me that there is no one place on the forums that allows us the users to voice what we would like to see developed in the SST site. What I would like to do here is create a list of all the additions, deletions, and modifications of features to the SST site. there will be no dictate on Jeric to do ANY of the things that might be suggested here, that's why they call them suggestions, and there will be no time frame promised or implied for the completion of any of these suggestions.

Well looks like you can be happy now. Your 'place' has been created. :-)

This 'ideas' forum is created for that purpose now.

Well time to fullfill me |33+ moderator duties and move all relevant topics to this forum. This job sucks Jeric! :D

Hehe, it is time consuming eh? Reading some of the old posts though is fun. It's amazing how much SST has grown. Thanks a lot Cal for helping reorganize the forums. Smile
