NessySheep proposed an idea while chatting today that perhaps there could be a feature in the favorites list that would automatically organize your list by artist/genre/song length/availability. We were talking about disorganized lists and it seemed like a nice little idea! So here I am posting this since she asked kindly Any thoughts or further ideas on this would of course be welcomed. Not sure how this would be implemented, but then again i am not very computer savvy! _________________ The right song can turn an emperor into a laughing stock, can bring down dynasties. If this is something SST can do, I know I would be very appreciative. |

I like that idea, as long as we have a way to preserve the ranking structure of the list. People with epic favourites lists will probably get more use out of it than I will, though. _________________ ---

Well I do like that idea but then it would mean all my time spent organizing was a waste I'm for it though! _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |

I like it too, must be more like a sort order option. here you can select in the combo how you want to organize it.

I agree and I wish to take some piece off of my list and I can't seem to do that either. Is there a way now that I've missed?

Do you mean removing a song from your list?
There is a grey cross icon above album's cover pic on the right side of your fav tracks list. Click that icon and the track will be removed. Tested it a moment ago and it works. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Oh, I would love to have some kind of organization option! I'm a tid bit OCD, so I just love organizing things.
Another idea would be to be able to create "sections" (or folders) for your favorites. Not only would this help in locating certain soundtracks, but it could possibly cut back on the load time of favorite lists... Just an idea...

I' love to get help with organizing my chaos - it's so frustrating with changing the place of favs all the time - great idea!! _________________ It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Rob also supports this idea! I have organized like my top 20 or so, but still... its a lot of work! If such a thing could be done that would be great.
if nothing else maybe a better way to organize. like a drag and drop system instead of manually typing in what number in the order it is, hitting refresh, waiting for it to reload etc. _________________ Rob Wilson

Even if I'm not a VIP (so only 100 favs max) I think that the idea could be a great improvement on favs management. And just separate available tracks from the not available ones would be great. |

This sounds like a great idea. Drag and drop I think would be the most helpful, with some kind of filters being next. |
