I nominate this one:
I just love this view of our blue home planet from the orbit, and the cover is done very artfully. |

Michael Giacchino's UP is so far my favorite cover art this year, and ironically it doesn't have a CD release to look at.

Alchemist,
I noticed the cover when JERIC was uploading it and it caught my eye too. I second the nomination. _________________ "I have *many* skills." -Xena |

Getting in line behind BQ and Tink, I agree. Mao's Last Dance is simple and says so much.
I really like the music as well. With a title like that... who knew? _________________ A good sound track will let me relive the movie, I can cry over them as well. Hand me the tissues...please. |

I would have liked to nominate the Batman; the brave and the bold but since they misprinted this I reject the artwork: It should have been 'the brave and the bald'
So therefore I chose the nice artwork on Bruno Coulais' score for CORALINE
(Now trying to get that photo in)

I think this one is also very good:
It's very striking and quite memorable. Click the Big Cover link to see it better. |

I'm not sure if I'm nominating this.
This is certainly one of the more striking, disquieting, scary album images I've seen in a while. I mean that in a good way; it got my attention. Not sure if that's enough to nominate it.
I also wonder if what we're really looking at here is usually just movie poster art. Hrm. |

An off-beat film deserves an off-beat cover and this certainly qualifies. The likenesses of the four stars are a little off but the overall design is fun and vibrant, the colors make it eye-catching and yet the actual information (name & composer) are very clear. _________________ If you can't stand the heat, don't tease a dragon |

Hey Dutchbat, fixed your image in the other thread. You are grabbing the url for the webpage that has the image. Instead you want to grab the actual url for the image. Easiest way to do that is right click on the image and select 'Properties' and under there you will see the image url (the end extension will be jpg). Copy that link and use the img tags on each end and the pictures shall appear Hope that helps! |
