I disagree with buying the longest track as a general rule. I don't think that all long tracks are worth it, and there are some really good short ones. The popularity meter is a thing to take with a grain of salt, as well, though much depends on your taste. I do agree with listening before you buy. Yep, he has a point if there happens to be a soundtrack that you only like a couple of things from. He hit the nail on the head with the "Album Only" download option on some tracks because they are downright popular, so Gladiator is still not in my collection because I only wanted the battle music. :p |
