Out of all the soundtracks I've heard this year, I think probably Mao's Last Dancer is the best one. I nominate that one.
Avatar is pretty good, but I just don't think it's Horner's best work. Like the movie, it's not special enough.
I can't think of any more right off the top of my head. If I do, I'll post again.
