Lawn seats are $25. My bride and I went last year. We got there early to get decent seats, had a nice picnic dinner, and enjoyed a great performance (even though it rained a bit).
Is anybody interested in going this year? I work on Friday night, so I'll be attending on Saturday, September 11th.

When I went to TTT last year the program made it sound like this was the debut performance and that they'd have others (using local talent) throughout the country. I never checked up on that since I'd seen it, but there's still hope.

Oh I wish I could! I'll be out of town that week unfortunately.
I'd love to try and make the next SST themed night at Wolf Trap. It's one of my favorite venues; just saw Idina Menzel there this past weekend.

It's no John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl, but if last summer's edition (TTT) is any indication this will be a good show. Just bumping the thread again.

Saw the show last night. The weather was beautiful, the movie was great, and the music was even better. I'm sorry you all missed it.

Well a few members here saw simular show in Krakow Poland last May with Howard Shore himself behind the mixing table
