(New York, NY – July 6, 2010) On July 13th, Times Square Records will release THE HISTORY OF INDIAN FILM MUSIC – A SHOWCASE OF THE VERY BEST IN HINDI CINEMA, the first ever authentic historic collection of Bollywood music tracing its history from its beginnings in 1930 to the present.

Accompanied by a hard bound book tracing the history of the music with rare pictures, this set in stellar packaging features the greatest Bollywood hits of all times, and is produced as a joint collaboration by two of the oldest media companies in the subcontinent of India; Saregama (formerly The Gramophone Company of India) and The Times of India Group (the oldest News Media Corporation in India).
