As you know in one of my previous posts I sent an email to John Williams' assistant.
Today, I received an email from him.
Here part of that email:
... Unfortunately John Williams is not able to accept meets/greets with fans at his annual Hollywood Bowl concerts. This has been a policy for many years due to the great number of fans who express interest in meeting John, and the limited amount of time he has every year at the Bowl for rehearsal and concerts. I'm afraid there really is nothing else I can suggest to you or your members in connection with John, but I certainly send thanks for your very kind interest in him and best wishes for continued success with your website.

With or without M&G it's going to be a nice weekend in LA due to the following:
*another great John Williams concert (#3 in my series of the Big 5 this year)
*meeting familiar and new SST-members again during the Gathering (and hoping we'll have a Brazilian Barbeque again in Burbank)
*a lot of flying around USA
*a second visit to Amoebe
*and perhaps a visit to Koreatown

I can add that 1980s.fm member mariel has bought for her and family tickets. I will met them and Nessy on friday where we will do a Warner Brothers studio tour and go to the Griffith Observatory
